Leftovers, or a lean meat sandwich or a lunch of peanut butter and jelly, with some raw vegetables, a piece of fruit or other snack, in addition to milk some money, you can make a fun and healthy lunch.
Be sure to keep your lunch safe, however, to keep everything clean when packing lunch, keeping cold foods cold in an insulated lunchbox and hot foods hot in an insulated bottle stored in an insulated lunch box.
If you have trouble planning meals for your child, ask your kids for their contributions and let them help pack lunch. You can also use the food pyramid as a guide and a meal plan provides approximately one third of your child's daily vitamin, mineral, and calorie requirements.
